On behalf of the members and associates of the Wisconsin Chief's of Police Association, I want to welcome you to our website. As we begin our 100 th year the challenges and goals of the Association have also changed to meet the needs of the society we police. We have prepared and updated our website to make it an effective tool for sharing information between our members and guests. Our Communications and Technology committee has worked diligently to make this a valuable implement for anyone who needs the important information we provide.
The objectives of the Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association:
- To advance the art and science of police services.
- To develop and disseminate improved administrative, technical, and operational practices and to promote their use in law enforcement.
To foster police cooperation and the exchange of information and experience among police administrators throughout the state.
- To foster recruitment and training in the police profession of qualified individuals.
- To encourage adherence by all police officers to the highest professional and ethical standards of performance and conduct.
I believe that you will find it easy to navigate and a helpful resource. If you have any feedback or suggestion, please feel free to contact us.
Sincerely,
Daniel R. Vergin, President
