Chief: Dennis Plantz
On behalf of the Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association, I want to welcome you to our Website. Most of you that come to the website are members of the WCPA and recognize the proud 105 year history of leadership and education that the WCPA has promoted throughout the State of Wisconsin. The Association promotes the professional and personal development of its members through innovative services, training, peer mentoring, and networking. The Association makes a positive impact on the quality of life in the communities which its members serve through proactive leadership, professional standards, dissemination of information, media relations, and promoting legislation which advances the mission and values of the Association. The WCPA provides a wide variety of services to its members such as education and training programs, testing services, legislative monitoring, and mentoring assistance to name a few. We are committed to the professionalism of Wisconsin’s law enforcement and strive to provide the tools needed to excel at police services.

The mission statement of the Wisconsin Chief’s of Police:
