5th Annual Non-Denominational Prayer Breakfast

The Wisconsin Police Leadership Foundation (WPLF) cordially invites you to fellowship with us at our 5th Annual Non-Denominational Prayer Breakfast.

The Prayer Breakfast is being held on Tuesday, February 13th in the Tamboti-Marula Rooms of the Kalahari Resort’s Conference Center between 6:45am – 7:45am.

In addition to a Scripture reading of Joshua 1:9 and prayers, this year’s event will feature a heart-felt presentation by Michele Gay about being strong and courageous and special musical performances by Nathan A. Boyd.

Michele Gay is a mother, former teacher, and co-founder of Safe and Sound Schools: A Sandy Hook Initiative. After losing her daughter, Josephine Grace, on December 14, 2012, she chose to take action as an advocate for improved school security and safety in our nation’s schools. Michele’s background as a teacher and involved parent, along with her personal loss and post-tragedy perspective, uniquely positioned her to help school communities prevent tragedy, and better prepare and respond in the event of an emergency in their own schools. Michele is dedicated to honoring Josephine in her work to make schools in our country more safe and secure.

Nathan A. Boyd is the Director of Product Integrity for Harley-Davidson Motor Company who is also highly involved in various music ministries. He is a “surrogate” Worship Leader, meaning he leads worship at various churches when paid staff are not available. Nathan currently does this volunteer work at four different churches in the metro Milwaukee area and can be found leading worship at those churches about three weekends a month. Additionally, Nathan and his son lead the Crossing Rock Worship Band for Wednesday night youth meetings at their home church, CrossWay, in Germantown.

Tickets to attend this event are $20.00/person and may be purchased in advance or during the Training Conference. The ticket price includes a plated breakfast, gratuity and other expenses relating to the hosting of this event.

Participation in this event is voluntary and all attendees, guests and exhibitors are welcome to attend.
