Dear Law Enforcement Equipment and Service Providers: With the COVID-19 pandemic, social unrest, unprovoked attacks on police officers and threats of defunding and abolishing police departments, 2020 has been a particularly difficult year for law enforcement. After having to cancel our 2020 WPLF Summer Training Conference, we were humbled by how many of you personally reached out asking how you could support our Association and Wisconsin law enforcement in these trying times. The added support provided by you, members of our extended law enforcement family, has been incredible and is still greatly needed. In 2021 the WCPA will be investing tens of thousands of dollars in lobbying efforts to promote the development and introduction of appropriate and reasonable legislative alternatives to fight against dangerous police reforms that threaten to jeopardize the safety of our officers and the communities they serve. We are also seeking to increase and enhance our law enforcement advocacy, outreach, training, and education programs. To strengthen our voice and provide the resources necessary to support these efforts, the WCPA is now welcoming businesses to apply for membership to our Association as a “Supporting Business Member.” In addition to becoming a part of Wisconsin’s oldest and largest network of executive law enforcement decision makers, WCPA Supporting Business Members are afforded the following benefits:
