Our “Safe and Healthy Initiative” will help you participate in training and networking while keeping safety in mind. While there are risks associated with attending an event during a pandemic, these procedures have been created to help minimize those risks for you and all of those attending. We will continue to update these initiatives if there are any changes in federal, state, and local mandates and recommendations.

We have a shared responsibility and respectfully ask you to adopt these practices to help protect the health of participating members, exhibitors, and Kalahari employees.

There are no vaccination requirements for this conference.

We will be asking all attendees to follow these practices:

  • Please do not attend if you are feeling ill or are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID based upon the current CDC Guidelines
  • If you become ill or symptomatic while at the conference, please notify WCPA Staff or WCPA board member and immediately leave the conference.
  • If you have any medical condition that could be aggravated by COVID we ask that you do not attend

We recommend the following practices for all participants:

  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Please consider public health guidelines when gathering in and outside of the conference
  • Mask wearing is not required but attendees are encouraged to follow the CDC Guidelines concerning the use of masks

What we are doing:

We have worked extensively with the Kalahari to accommodate healthy practices, including but limited to:

  • Convenient hand sanitizer stations throughout the conference area
  • Pipe and drape for expo booths to enhance separation
  • Masks will be available in the Attendee & Exhibitor Registration Booths throughout the conference
  • Sit down meals will be served by hotel staff

What the Kalahari is doing:

In addition to the above, the Kalahari has put precautions in place. You can see the Kalahari’s plan on their website: Click HERE for more information.
